Spring Vision Quest

The Vision Quest is an ancient ceremony to mark and move on from one life transition to another. This Vision Quest will take place in the mountains of Snowdonia, in North Wales.

The Venue
Our base is a lovingly restored Barn using natural materials and although ancient, the barn has a modern feel of space and beauty. It nestles in the Nanmor valley, surrounded by ancient woodland, with views of Moel Ddu. It’s a safe and restful retreat base to be immersed in nature while preparing for your Vision Quest
Included - is a well-equipped kitchen/dinning and a camp kitchen
Several bedrooms to share, Plus land for camping.
Underfloor heating. Two bathrooms.
We move out to a base camp in the mountains for your solo time on the forth day, then return to this lovely place for the final two days.
The group will live as a small community, therefore you are asked to be responsible for yourselves. You provide your own food and cook for yourselves. (Closer to the start date we send the address list for you to plan meals together, or alone.)
There are a of local shop in the village of Llanfrothen about five miles away.
Porthmadog is the closest small town with a wider range of shops include a good health food store, camping shops and a large supermarket with some organic food.
Cost - Sliding scale between £1150 to £895 (non refundable & non-transferrable deposit of £250, unless the vision quest is cancelled) This includes all accommodation and camping (in your own tent) and the welcome meal.

You are welcome to contact me with any questions and to talk over the whole process.
To secure a place you need to send a non-refundable deposit along with a letter saying something of yourself and your past and issues you carry right now and why you wish to do this course. You will then be sent further details and a full equipment list. Plus the necessary medical forms, travel suggestions and a map to the venue. Our group size is always small to enhance the quality and to experience the depth of our work together. (So be mindful that places are limited).

Logistics
Arrival is on Sunday May 11th in the afternoon between 4pm-6pm. This will give you time to settle in, pitch your tent if necessary and find your feet on this land. A welcome vegetarian dinner will be provided at 6.30pm this will be our first gathering with the opportunity to go over the logistics and form of the Vision Quest. (Any dietary needs so please let me know).
The ceremonial gate will open on Monday morning at 10am.
We will finish by lunch time pm on Thursday the 22nd May.
Travel
If you are coming by car there is plenty of parking available. Directions will be sent one month before the start date. (If you need this information before to plan with flight arrivals etc, then please email me) If you are travelling by train you can arrange to be picked up and dropped off with us from Penrhyndeudraeth.
