Way of Council Mentoring & Dream Work 

 

Mentoring

Each session is a time to lay down what you carry - the stories, questions, and challenges that are alive for you now.

Like gathering at a fire, we pause together.
I listen with still witnessing, reflecting back what I hear, offering questions that may help you see more clearly the path before you.

 

The Circle & Container
Our session follows the simple, timeless form of Council:
 

• A candle lit to mark our beginning

• A few words or a short poem to open the circle

• A Talking Piece you may bring from nature or your home - stone, a shell, or something loved and special to you.

• Closing words or a blessing to complete

 

This is a gentle sacred space of respect, attention, and deep listening.

 

Dream Work

Dreams come like messengers of the night, carrying images from the depths of soul.

In our work we will:

• Bring your dream into the circle, allowing it to speak

• Explore it through writing, drawing, or poetry

• Listen for the images and teachings it offers

• Learn how dreams can guide and companion you on your journey

 

By tending your dream life, you open to a language of symbols and stories that connect you with inner wisdom and the wider world of spirit and nature.

 

The Way of Council

At the heart of Council is a simple, ancient practice:
Two or more people in circle

• A talking piece to steady our attention

• A few shared intentions

• As Council carrier, I will guide us with these principles:

• Allow words to come simply and spontaneously

• Honour confidentiality and what serves the circle

• Speak from the heart

• Listen from the heart, without judgment

 

Speaking with a talking piece slows us to slow down, be more aware and attentive to the present moment. It lets each voice be heard fully - like the wind through trees, or the river over stone.

 

Fee

Sliding scale: £75 – £100 per hour

My training and experience- Trained with Marion Woodman (Jungian Dream Analyst, Switzerland, 2002. Certified Transformative Dream Work Practitioner with Maggie Peters, UK (2003).
