Way of Council Mentoring & Dream Work

Mentoring

In our session  - you will share a timed account of what is happening, this will include the issues you carry right now, what’s ‘up’ and anything that needs to be spoken. as a response Council. I will Listen deeply as a support, then offer some reflection, witnessing and possible questions.

Structure & Container

This will be held in a simple basic form of Council - lighting a candle opening, sharing a few meaningful words or short poem. You may wish to bring an object to use as a Talking Piece and I will facilitate the barebones of our Council. We will finish with a few meaningful words or short poem. Do bring anything you love and inspires you, if you wish.

Dreamwork

We will work with your dream world by:

Bringing your dream to our session - learning the skills for accessing and processing your dreams. Using journal writing, art, and poetry to guide and deepen your understanding of your dream world. Deepening this practice to allow dreams to be your guide and opening pathways to this image language and how they are trying to teach, help and support you on your path. 

 

How do we embrace the Council form?

We need two or more people in a circle, a ‘talking piece’ to focus attention and a few chosen intentions. As the Council carrier I will introduce the guidelines of Council: to speak from the heart; to listen from the heart without judgment; to speak spontaneously and succinctly; to honour confidentiality and to speak what serves: Using a talking piece heightens our awareness of space and time and helps focus and empower you, allowing you to speak without interruption and to be heard with full attention. 

 

Fee - Sliding scale between £100 to £65 per hour

Dream Work Training and experience

I studied and trained in Switzerland with Marion Woodman, Jungian dream analyst, in 2002.

Then, studied and trained as a Transformative dream work professional practitioner with Maggie Peters, UK 2003. Since then I have been offering Way of Council and Dream Ceremonies.
